This blog has been created to support the e-book version of the second edition of the book "The Economics of Automatic Testing". Originally published by McGraw-Hill in 1982, and with a second and substantially expanded edition in 1992, the book has been widely used within the electronics industry in many countries. The printed book has been unavailable for some years, though used copies are generally available on Amazon (sometimes at inflated prices).
It was first suggested to me a couple of years ago that the book is still being used and should be made more generally available. An e-book version was an obvious choice and this has been completed and will be available from the usual e-book suppliers in January 2013. If there is sufficient interest printed versions will also be made available.
This blog will provide a forum for me to answer reader's questions and and for me to receive feedback. There is already a support website for the book at www.testeconomics.com which provides more information about the book and some sample pages. Additional downloads will be added when the book starts to ship.
